Thumbnails load SUPER slow over gigabit network

I've tested everything I could think of to figure out why thumbnails generate so slowly over the network and was wondering if anyone has any solutions to my rather annoying problem. Here is a list of everything I know about this problem: -50 images stored on my SSD can generate the thumbnails in 3 seconds -The same 50 images can transfer to or from my NAS in 3 seconds -The same 50 images...
