ctrl key makes any browser go to homepage

hi, i found this weird behaviour on my keyboard recently and it's really starting to annoy me. when i press the ctrl key any browser im using would go to the homepage. i've tried pressing the ctrl key on my on-screen keyboard but it does not make the browser go to homepage so im thinking maybe my keyboard is broken. i also tried to look at the computer management and tried to scan for...
