Clean install win 7 home prem. x64 error 0x80070017

I've read several threads here about this error (it doesn't seem to be uncommon) but nothing seems to work with my system. First off, I have already had this particular OS on my system. I used a boot image cd to wipe the whole thing because I want to sell it. It's in perfect condition (I've literally owned it for 2 months but can't return it due to their 30-day-return policy grrr) and I KNOW...
