2ND monitor is black

Hello when I woke up this morning I started up my computer and the 2ND monitor was black, it would also randomly start flickering yesterday. I have updated my drivers. When I unplug and then plug in my HDMI cable it flashes my screen saver then goes black. My settings/menu buttons also do not show up on the black. The Monitor is 4-6 years old.
