SSD and HD

Hi, I was just wondering if its possible for a HD to go to sleep while Windows is using the SSD. The reason I ask, is because sometime I hear a click, like when my PC use to sleep when I only had my HD. If feel like when using windows on the SSD, and don't navigate to my folder on the HD, it will turn off, because then when I go to my folders after I hear the click, explorer seem to either...
