Macrium Image file 87 GB, can't browse files

Hello, I have Macrium Free, imaged my entire computer, made the boot CD for the Windows PE....I boot up, do exactly what the sticky thread says . . . . the image is on a brand new Western Digital 1TB external HDD, when I try to image the internal HDD (seagate drive) Macrium simply puts the contents of the WD drive on the Seagate internal HDD, sort of like a simple copy/paste.
