What's taking up my hard drive?

Just happened to check my hard drive this morning and was shocked to discover that out of the total disk size of 1TB there's only about 80GB free. I have done a folder by folder check and can only account for 340GB. I did create a system image some time ago, but thought that was saved to my back up drive. Any suggestions as to how to identify what else is on there?
