windows 7 start menu problem

Hello everyone I just have a problem with windows 7 start menu, it's often lost one part under search box, i try return to windows 7 default theme but nothing happens, but it return to normal after i turn off start menu but it will happen sometime. Maybe because i patch the system file to use theme? If someone can help, please reply, thanks alot and sorry for my bad english
