SSD with AHCI

Hey all I have recently bought a new SSD (replacing the main HDD) and, as you do, have been tinkering. I read that for best performance it should be set to AHCI, so I followed this with no issues: http://ift.tt/10NhaiW However, when I went into the bios I realised that the M2N68-AM Plus does not support AHCI.
