SSD Migration of registry not files

I recently got an SSD to run my OS out of. I would like to leave all my files behind on the old drive but still be able to run all my programs from the new drive. There will be a few programs I want on the new drive which I will manually install but most of my programs (like iTunes) I would like the install location to stay as my old drive but run it from the new SSD. How would I go about doing...
