Installing Win7 Pro from scratch on laptop with Win7 Pro Refurb COA

Hi, I recently bought a laptop from an online auction site. The laptop is a Thinkpad T400, which has a Windows 7 Pro for Refurbished Computers COA. Upon first reboot, I was able to activate Windows 7 with the number in the COA sticker.
