ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4300 Dissapeared

Today I installed a set of Windows updates (21). Took about 15 minutes. When the laptop restarted it stated that it could not install the driver for the above component. When I went to "Device Manager" that component was no longer listed, However; a "Unknown" item is listed. The result of this problem is that the display stops 3/4 of the way across the screen and then starts to repeat...
