Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on HP Pavilion P6597c BSOD + Hanging

I bought a refurbished Pavilion P6597c about 3 months ago; it was completely wiped and I loaded Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, installed a second western digital hard drive (1 TB), a Nvidia GT 610 (1 GB model) and a Asus Xonar DX sound card.
