Is it possible to get rid of the 'Open' command in my context menu

Sorry if this is a silly question, but is it possible to get rid of the 'Open' command in my context menu? It just seems superfluous to me - if I wanted to open something, I'd have left clicked on the icon, not right clicked for the context menu. It gives me the irrits :sarc:, that's all. Thank you
